Hi. Sorry to randomly comment, but I was wondering what you know about synaesthesia.

pne said to say he sent me.

Hi :) I don't really know that much, as I only researched enough to determine whether what I experienced (seeing letters and numbers in colour) was synaesthesia or not.

So here's a list of what I know.
// The standard test of whether someone has synaesthesia or not is creating a shape with a particular letter or number and surrounding that picture with random letters/numbers. If a person has synaesthesia, then they will be able to see a colour shape among the letters/numbers.

//Not everyone with synaesthesia has the same characteristics. Some people feel a particular flavour in their mouth when they see certain colours, others don't. Some people only see either numbers or letters in colour, some can see both in colour.

//Everyone has their own individual colour or taste association with letters and numbers. For example, I see 2 in orange, and t in purple, but someone else might see them in blue and red respectively.

//Some people find it extremely overwhelming to have synaesthesia, others find it quite easy to live with.

So you see, I'm a lazy sod who doesn't know much about it :P If this isn't enough, I'm happy to talk more about it, but it would mainly be about my own personal experiences with it. I'm sure I've bookmarked a few pages on this, so when I get home, I'll have a look.

Hope this helps :)
